We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Pestana CR7 Hotel on Gran Via in Madrid for 5 nights (March 7-12), and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from check-in to check-out. Location: The hotel's location on Madrid's iconic Gran Via is simply unbeatable. We were within walking distance of major attractions like Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, and the Royal Palace. The area is vibrant with excellent shopping, dining, and nightlife options right at your doorstep. Rooms: Our room was modern, stylish and immaculately clean, featuring the signature CR7 sports-inspired design elements that blend perfectly with luxury comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing perfect rest after long days of sightseeing. The bathroom was spacious with excellent shower pressure and high-quality toiletries. The staff truly made our stay special. From the front desk (thanks to Juan :)), to housekeeping, everyone was professional, friendly, and attentive. They provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and attractions, and were always ready to assist with any requests. A special mention must go to Julia in the breakfast area - her warm smile greeted us every morning, making each day start on a perfect note. Her attentive service, friendly personality, and willingness to go above and beyond truly enhanced our dining experience. Julia is an exceptional asset to the hotel team and made our breakfast time truly memorable.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The decor is of a very high standard, much higher than we expected. Our bedroom was really stylish and had lots of storage space. It was very comfortable. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. The location is a very easy walk to the Royal Palace and the Plaza Mayor. The department store El Cortte Ingles is just down a side street. Metro stops are a few 100m away to take you to the galleries. We ate in the hotel restaurant and really liked it. The Sports Bar and the Roiftop bar are both very cool. A very good breakfast is served. Overall we found this an extremely comfortable base for a visit to Madrid and would highly recommend it.

The staff are so helpful and friendly at all times. The breakfast was fantastic, especially sitting out on the terrace looking out over Gran Via. The room is amazing and definitely done to a high standard. The sports bar and terrace are great to relax in after a long day sightseeing. On our last day, the staff were so accommodating, letting us keep our room for an extra 2 hours and storing our bags until we were ready to leave. We will definitely be back in Madrid and stay here again when we do.

The hotel is located in the heart of Madrid - stepping outside the elevator you are practically diving into the bustle of city life on Gran Via. However inside the hotel it doesn't really feel that you are meters away from crowds and noise and nice tranquility prevails. The biggest gem of the hotel is its rooftop terrace with bar and restaurant and magnificent views over Madrid. The rooms are stylish and very comfortable and the hotel generally emits the aura of grand design. The breakfast was superb with variety of choices for every taste

Location was excellent, near to everything such as shopping centers, squares, restaurants etc. We needed a taxi to go to Santiago Bernabeu Stadum only 10 minutes away. Only 2kM to Reina Sofia Museum. I also liked the energetic young staff at the reception, they were very cooperative and helpful. I liked watching live matches at the 9th floor and the atmosphere in sport bar was very good.
